Being a nanny you're very close to this family and unless you're completely clueless, you'd definitely would've picked up on something by now.
I've picked up on some things obviously, which is why I feel, as I said, unsettled. However, some of these things are subtle, and MB and I are reasonably close, so perhaps I am picking up on HER negative feelings about him. She has told me that they are having issues.
The children sometimes seem happy to see their dad, but have complained about him...as in, he pays little attention to them, gets mad at them a lot, etc.
I have not noticed any bruises on the children besides the usual ones from everyday tumbles (like on the knees).
I think I will keep my mouth shut and my eyes open.
