I didn't say this thread, but the general attitude on the board has been very anti bonus as if there's nothing a nanny can do to warrant one, no one can afford one, and every nanny who gets one is a liar, and those who want one are entitled. This thread is simply the icing on the unappreciative disrespectful cake.

My brother was a plow driver and people would run out and give him gifts. My stepdad was a garbage man and ppl would do the same or leave a gift/ envelope near the trash. You'd be surprised how many people are generous during the holidays. You do see it more in the suburbs rather than the city.
