How is this a problem? You're off on Christmas anyway, right?

It's not a "problem" but it is something I would like. Every other day all through December the MB will ask if I've gotten my tree yet, what I'm doing on Christ,as, if I'm going to midnight mass, if I've put up my lights yet, etc. and to each question I reply that I don't do that because I'm Jewish, or going to movies and having Chinese food, etc. but she never stops asking. Over and over. Aren't you excited for Santa to come to your house? Well, Santa doesn't come to the houses of jewish people. It never stops all month long.

How can someone be so dense?

Because it is nice for someone to put thought into someone else's needs. Being off Christmas means nothing to a Jew. It is just a regular day.

I'm jewish and appreciate a day off. I also appreciate the Christmas bonus. Who cares, seriously.

A raise (early January marks a year with them) and a bonus! Or a big-ass Starbucks gift card.

Just a nice bonus. My employers are always telling me that they are very happy with me, but don't seem to understand that I need regular income to survive. My hours are ALWAYS changing. So happy I'm done with school in the spring, time to move on.

I didn't even know $10 gift cards existed.

Aww that's awful! I always spend more on gifts for my family than they spend on me too...Is it terrible I plan to spend less on them now?

If you could get anything from your employer, what would it be?
