Just show up, at like 5:30 when you know they will be home, and politely and calmly just say "I know you weren't feeling well and I appreciate you looking out for my health, but I really need to be paid right now". If they don't pay you on the spot, just leave and THEN file in court-through the Labor Board if you are paid on the books or in small claims if not.
