I'm in college and am a nanny during the summer for two school aged kids. I live at college during the school year but am at home during breaks, like the summer.
The kids couldn't believe I still live at home and told me I should move out, get married, and stop "mooching off my parents."
haha!

My 2y.o. charge naps in the pack-and-play in the living room. Just next to it is the family computer. He basically talks himself to sleep every, songs, memorized books, tv shows, until he drifts off. One day he was saying over and over "Nanny, stop kicking the computer. Nanny, stop kicking the computer."

When MB came home, I told her, "just so you know, I wasn't kicking the computer." She laughed and told me the night before he said, "Mommy, stop kicking me." Now she's scared to death someone will hear this and call cps.

I use to work in an aftercare program and one of the kids, a very smart and funny 8yo boy told me, and I quote, "you're not really girlfriend material" after telling him I had a date planned that evening (and for the record, the guy I went on the date with has been my boyfriend for almost a year now, so the kid was wrong!!! )

The 5 and 7 year old I watched last summer would tell me that I need to move out of my parents house and get a real job. I was only back home for the summer between graduating from undergrad and going off to grad school, but apparently by their standards that was too long!

I was babysitting once and a girl saw I had dry skin on my feet. So she says "can I pick the skin off your feet? I'm really good at it!"

(I got this idea from the buzzfeed list of the creepiest things kids have said to their parents)

The six year old I nanny for says he wants to cut off my head to see my brain and wants to cut my heart out to see if it is red. He also told me he liked the taste of blood.

A 2 year old said to me I want a ponzie scheme. This was during the Bernie maydoff scandal.

My charge always says... "Why are you on your phone all the time?" and "I'm tired of watching TV" but the creepiest thing she says is " peanut butter and jelly again"

Probably older than you...why? Adults can't find humor on the hilarious things children say?

What is the creepiest or strangest thing a charge or someone you were babysitting has said to you?

I was babysitting once and a girl saw I had dry skin on my feet. So she says "can I pick the skin off your feet? I'm really good at it!"
