You find it hard to believe that people walk around half naked in their home? I'm one of the PPs and I assure my story is real. I have seen almost all of my bosses in various states of undress (it comes with the territory of working in a home), but only one MB who made a habit of it. I swear to you, I saw this woman's tits more often than her husband.

They have serious boundary issues.

My first live in nanny job the MB was like this. Every morning she watched cartoons, topless, with her 3.5yo. This was the least of her flaws and I quit after 6weeks.

With my last charges, MB was always in her pajamas when I got there and the mornings were super hectic because she was trying to get ready and everyone was underfoot. We would go grab coffee (for me obviously) first thing in the AM. The combo of getting them into their outdoor gear and walking for 15 minutes, gave MB enough time alone to get ready and she was usually gone by the time we got back. Win/win!

Don't be surprised if they start hinting for you to get just as "comfortable" with your body.
You may want to start looking for a new job.

Even if he *was* attractive, its still very rude, and I doubt something they would do in front of anyone else in their home. Repair man, cable guy, mother in law. Why is it okay to subject the nanny to it?

I worked for a family like this, mb would pee with the bathroom door open (only 1 bathroom in the house) and db would wander around, and even come into the babys room to play with her, wearing nothing but a towel. I quit shortly after arriving at the same time i always did and found db in the kitchen making coffee naked. There were other issues but that was the final straw.

They may be "comfortable with their bodies" but it doesn't mean I have to be. When you hire a nanny, you turn your home into someone's workplace. That person has a right to feel reasonably comfortable in their place of work, for example, you should leave the heat/ac on for the nanny during the day. You also shouldn't run around unreasonably exposed during her work hours. You're also flirting with the lines of sexual harassment. I don't want to see my boss' boobs, butt, or any other part of your body that I wouldn't have to see if we were in an office.

It's their home, they can walk around as dressed or undressed as they wish. It's not a sign of disrespect, it's a sign of being comfortable with their bodies. Which is something we should all strive for, really.

I had an MB that would work from home occasionally, dressed in what I assume she slept in the night before. It was tights, not leggings, but see through black tights, and a too small t-shirt. Lets just say she was not in the best shape of her life, and it was not a good look. She also was infamous for taking off her entire shirt and bra to nurse. I admired her comfort with her body, but I was quite UNcomfortable with it.

They have little (if any) respect for you.
