I never post about work in any form. Absolutely no pictures of the kids posted.

If you do take pictures, especially on a smart phone, be sure to check GPS settings. There are ways to find out exactly where a picture was taken.

Not Facebook friends with my employers or anyone they know. Specifically, blocked them and have the highest privacy setting. However, I have a business fb page devoted to nannying and post activities, pictures etc for my employers,their friends/family and for other potential employers. It's linked to my professional website that also has a pictures of the kids (lots). I have illegal rights to use these pictures via a photo release form. As always I never post last names, addresses,dates etc.

I never discussed Facebook specifically with him, but did ask that he not distribute pictures of DD online. We are not FB friends - that would be weird.

I have no problem with something like "taking the kiddos to the aquarium! Can't wait to see some penguins!". But so far, their nanny has had enough common sense not to say things like "Zach and Emily are fighting again! Ugh I can't wait for this day to be over!" or any pictures of them. I'm actually not FB friends with my nanny but she's my friend's cousin and she would tell me if anything inappropriate was posted about my kids.

I never post about work, or the children. Basic common sense. If you have to spell that out, I'd question her judgement.

I am curious about policies with respect to nanny's posting on Facebook about children in their care? Such as no pictures allowed but occasional comments, okay?
