Waaah waaah. If you really have to wash sheets at 3am and hand wash underwear, what stops you from quitting?

Why would you not believe its true ? Im a live in nanny and I get asked to do things on my time off or in the middle off the night. At 3 am on a Saturday morning a nice text saying 3 yr old peed the bed please come up and change/ wash sheets. I also have to hand wash my bosses underwear once a week. I think it's totally inappropriate but I do it because its my job. I do what they don't want to do. Grunt workers we are !!

This. That's beyond ridiculous. It's unfortunate that people take an act of kindness into something to abuse. I'm an MB and wouldn't dream of being so rude. I know you made her coffee out of kindness, but you have to realize that the nature of people nowadays is to take advantage of kind acts. If I were you I'd ease out of making the coffee and other nice extras. I'd still do my job excellently, but leave out the extras that may be abused. Your MB is an ass. Sorry, OP!

I bet the boyfriend asked her to ask you.

I would state it just as you have here. Explain that you find it inappropriate to be bringing her bf coffee and that although you do it for her out of kindness, you are a nanny not her personal assistant. Explain that asking you to do that is pushing boundaries.

I would stop bringing her coffee. Make it and leave ready on the counter if you want to be nice.

I wouldn't as well. You aren't his servant.

I'm a live-in, and sometimes in the morning while MB is spending time with her daughter, I will make her and bring her a cup of coffee. I do this out of kindness, not because I am asked.

Yesterday MB asked if I can now make coffee for get new boyfriend, and serve it to him in bed!!!

I said no, and she seemed shocked. I want to sit and talk to her about it, but I don't know how to make it come across as how rude this was...
