14:01. I already agreed about my hourly rate with my new family. My question was related to my old job who offered me part time job in the morning

I always work 50-60 hours a week

$19/hr sounds good. You could bump up to $20/hr, but the job really isn't worth more than that.
Are you sure you have the energy for this extra job, OP?

I'd tell them you first need a week or two to see how much extra energy you have after your new FT job. If you still want an early morning job, tell them $24/hr. And you tell them what you want to do.

Ask the agency what the family is offering. You won't get the job if its way above their range

I just would like to ask some inputs about hourly rates. I was a nanny for a family for 2 years full time. Then from September, when all the kids went to school they changed the job to part time. 25 hours/week. I tried to find a new job for the morning but couldn't find anything really I liked. I didn't want to change my part time position because I love the kids. At the same time I knew I can't last too long only working part time job. One day one of the agency called me about a full time job. I met the family and we figured we are a pretty good match. After a few days thinking I gave my notice to the family. But since I work the 40 hours mainly in the afternoon and evening to the new family my old family asked me to work for them a few mornings/week. Getting ready the kids to the school, grocery shopping and laundry and a little pick up after the kids what I did on the daily basic. It would be about 10-12 hours. The job is in northern New Jersey. How much should I charge per hour? Thank you for any answers.
