I m in northern SS area and think that rate above seems kind of high for Columbia if it is a FT job.

Agree with the rates you've been given. Working in the suburbs, having a car/license is a necessity not really a plus, but your other qualities are good. You could make a bit more in the city. Good luck!

Hello,
I have 3.5 years of experience as a full time nanny caring for two boys from infancy to age 4. I was a live in for 2.5 years and a live out for 1 year. I am new to the area so I'd like to get an idea of what the going rate is around here. I am currently in Columbia, MD in Howard County and am seeking work in that general area.
I am bilingual and have an associates degree. I have my own car as well. I will be looking for full time live out positions.
