OP here: kids are 2 and 4. I'm the nanny so any food I would offer would be my employer's.
If it is not your food/money issue, then why not offer a small plate of crackers, fruit, veggies, cheese, etc. It doesn't have to be big.

OP, I'd ask your MB and/or the other mom/nanny. If the kids eat an early lunch (11.30ish) they won't need a snack during that time. And it will become more of a snack playdate vs a playing playdate
That is basic snack food most people keep in the house for those age kids. Really, it isn't that hard to pull out some crackers You always offer. Its ok for someone to decline.
