Haha as long as you don't show up one day with the exact haircut, clothes, shoes, bag, accessories as MB, I think you are fine.

Most nannies can't afford to shop where their MB's shop.

Too many prunes on this website. OP, there's nothing wrong with sharing the same taste in style. LOL.

While I think it would be cool that you bought one thing she had, if you started buying a lot more than that, that just might freak out your boss. And w/good reason OP.

Why not find another fashion mentor instead?
Or at least...Make darn sure not to wear the stuff you got around your bosses.

That might send them over the edge and let you go.....

LOL are you kidding me? If my MB fired me because I showed up to work in a pair of shoes identical to a pair she owns, I am certain I wouldn't want to be working for someone like that anyway. Get over it.

Yes this has happened to me. But even better is when mb buys something she loves so much that she decides I need a pair or the same shirt too. I probably have $500+ in clothing/shoes bought for me from my mb. Such a sweet and extremely generous way to show she cares for me!

I think my MB has great taste in clothes. I'm a shoe fanatic and think she has impeccable taste in shoes. I'm such a fan of these pair of shoes she has, I bought myself a pair. Then two more pairs, of different shoes she has. Any I you ever bought similar or same pair of clothes, shoes, because you thought your nanny/ MB had a cute wardrobe?
