Good that you got the signed form. I've heard of parents not getting the nanny's signature. Can only imagine they forged her signature.

I totally agree...Do not rely on Care.com or Sittercity.com for a background check.

These are not very reliable.

What state? Also, did she already give you a signed release form? Maybe the company will provide the form for her.

I am preparing to offer a position for a new babysitter/nanny. I would like to run a background check on her. I know both sittercity and care.com offer these services, but I've heard they are not of the best quality.

Can anyone recommend a background check service?
