This is BS. Its not a new experience. She's going on a nanny interview. Presumably with people who have kids. You're making this into a much bigger thing than it needs to be, OP, and maybe you aren't racist but I'm sure if you ask yourself why you're nervous it boils down to stereotyping. What is it that you're nervous about? You have a preconceived notion about black people in general, based on nothing more than stereotypes seeing as how you obviously have no experience with them.
