I'm a MB and disagree with you. Some of how a child turns out has to do with their parents but a lot has to do with them. I had the shit beaten out of me on a regular basis, was severely neglected and spent very little awake time at the family home, yet I graduated with honors from college. I did that DESPITE my parents. I would be very upset if I found out they were claiming any responsibility for my success.

I'm a MB as well and I do not think the fact that someone is fertile makes them a good nanny. For example, I am extremely successful - college, grad, school, very high paying job. But, my mom beat me with a belt, slapped me, punched me, strangled me, etc. for most of my childhood until high school. I don't think she would be a good nanny simply because I turned out to be successful.

I talked on the phone a LOT from 7th grade through 11th grade, so I'd make an awesome receptionist.

It's human nature. You see the same kind of behavior on resumes and applications for all kinds of jobs.

They sound more like babysitter applicants, not nanny applicants. You're an agency?
Maybe first explain the difference?

Real comments in nanny applications

1 I have lots of experience because I'm the oldest of three siblings

2 I raised my own son and he's a college graduate (yeah, so did Ted Bundy's mother)

Why is it people think any passing familiarity with a subject means you are qualified? It's like me saying I fly a lot so I am qualified to be the pilot.
