I personally would charge $20-22, but I agree that $18-20 is very reasonable and will bring in strong candidates.

If you are in DC, OP, $18-$20/hr is good, depending on qualifications such as experience with multiples.

$18-20 is reasonable for infant twins full time. You could probably find someone for $16-17 but they may not have multiples experience.

Um no? I'm the PP saying I watch 6 month old twins and make $18.75/hr. Caring for twin infants is NOT an easy job.

PP - Actually read to fast and didn't notice it was twins but still need more details like experience, where you live, do you have any degrees in ECE, certificates?, etc.

This is what I do, except they are currently 6 months and I started when they were 10 weeks. I make $18.75/hr and work 45-50 hours a week.
