As in imagine being just like her...

Psycho. I have a wonderful relationship with my MB but I do not fantasize and wish to be here. Get your own life.

Weirdo. Seriously you're creepy. And I'm not bitter at all, my MB and I have a great relationship and I look up to her for what she has accomplished in her life, but I would never use the word "fantasize", sexual or not. The fact that you imagine being just like her is creepy. Keep that shit to yourself!

Woah yeah everyone needs to take it down a notch.
Fantasize does not mean sexual all the time...you all must have your heads in the gutter.

There are no boundary issues at all in our relationship. She's a great friend of mine and I look up to her as a mother of the children I spend all day with. CALM DOWN EVERYONE.

Bitter nannies don't like nannies who have good MB relationships I guess...

I don't think you're creepy, fwiw. I think the other posters are being dramatic- it's not as if you're trying to steal her life or run away with her!

Be careful to respect boundaries, but pretty much everyone has had an infatuation with or crush on somebody- and it's not always sexual as PP's seem to be implying.

You are super creepy, OP.

That's creepy. I suggest therapy.

However, I think my old mb was awesome. I don't fantasize about her though.

I really care about my MB and my nanny family. I wouldn't say I idolize or fantasize about her but I do admire her and feel love for her the way you might for a sister or a daughter.

I guess she's just the best female role model I've ever had and I would give anything to be half the mom she is to her kids. Has anyone else ever felt similarly about their mb?

Oh and fwiw, I've been working for her family for 4 1/2 years. So we know each other very well

Holy crap.. Single White Female anyone? Hand that rocks the cradle anyone?

Look up to....yeah.

Fantasize? No. Like in a sexual way? There is nothing wrong with same sex attraction but you don't need to have feelings for a boss or coworker.

Seems to be some boundary issues. Don't know. Maybe just to hasty with word selection. Hope op has other healthy friendships.
