He told his parents he heard voices in his head, threatened to kill himself and on MLK Day he said he wanted to be like MLK because he was dead. I was approaching my one year anniversary with the family and school was about to let out for the school year and I feared being with their oldest full time. I gave my notice. It took me leaving for them to finally have him evaluated. It's an shame but I didn't want to be responsible if something happened to him on my watch.
OP- I don't know what advice to give you. I've been in your shoes. I've seen my crazy charge kick his baby brother in the head, tell me he hoped the train killed me on my way home, and would get violent with me. I would say run...but you said you already told them you can't babysit any longer so what advice are you seeking? I wish you the best, it's not easy dealing with maniacs.
OP here- We are neighbors and I am honestly afraid for his family. I will do what another person on here said and will email the parents so that there is at least a paper trail that someone did try and warn them. I do not allow my animals out by themselves anymore and I don't even like to be out by myself when I know he is home. I know he is very manipulative and calculating and quite frankly am scared of him. He was kicked out of his private school and is planning on going to public school in the Fall so hopefully someone official will intervene.
