Subject: Psychopathic Kid- Need Advice!
I certainly could be wrong here since OP has not told us how many nannies this child has had, but I can almost guarantee you that he's had a string of them.
I'd love to know why his "parents" seem oblivious? Or maybe they simply don't know where to turn?

I would say run...but you said you already told them you can't babysit any longer so what advice are you seeking? I wish you the best, it's not easy dealing with maniacs.
OP here- We are neighbors and I am honestly afraid for his family. I will do what another person on here said and will email the parents so that there is at least a paper trail that someone did try and warn them. I do not allow my animals out by themselves anymore and I don't even like to be out by myself when I know he is home. I know he is very manipulative and calculating and quite frankly am scared of him. He was kicked out of his private school and is planning on going to public school in the Fall so hopefully someone official will intervene.

The parents aren't doing anyone any favors by ignoring this behavior. He could get help, that he needs. However, by ignoring all this they are creating a monster. Ugh, can't give much advice. However, if he does hurt his siblings, or kill an animal I think he can be committed.

If I ever said shit like that or did anything to hurt someone or an animal my mother would have beat my ass.
My advice is to one write a letter to the parents explaining all your concerns with attached information on signs of behavioral issues, links to therapists and a warning that their child is never to set foot on your property. If you rent, I'd consider moving.

Has anyone dealt with a kid who they felt was a budding psychopath?
I nanny for a 8 year old who I feel is on his way due to his actions. He shows no emotions or remorse, is destructive and will actively try and hurt his siblings and their pets (I caught him one time dunking their kitten in water.) I looked up the signs and he has quite a few of them including bed wetting. When he gets mad, he gets this really creepy look on his face and says he will cut off my skin. Last night was the last straw and I told the parents I could no longer babysit and explained why. They are dead set against even hearing anything about it and says that he is going through a phase. They are my next door neighbors and I am seriously scared of this kid.
Any advice or has anyone dealt with this kind of kid?
