My charges call me my first name (or some version that they are able to pronounce of it) and always have. It has never affected the level of respect our authority that I command. I would feel like such a d-bag telling my MB the kids have to start saying "Miss". No I'm not their big sister but I am not their "help" either, I'm the person they spend every day with and some level of familiarity is perfectly acceptable.
