I agree that $10/hr for A and $14/hr for B would make more sense here, but OP, who provides the equipment, or hosts, or brings the food is completely irrelevant. Nine times out of ten that has zero bearing on how much a family pays in a share as there are pros and cons to hosting/not hosting, using your own equipment/not, etc. that even out in the end.

From a math standpoint it doesn't make sense to me that the other family saves $7 during share hours, and you only save $1. Also that her rate goes up $2 per child during non share hours (one child family at $15 you at $17) but $8 during share hours. I know the idea of a share is different than a two child family, but that seems extreme.

$24/ hour may not be crazy high, depending on other factors, but a $16/8 split is really unfair to you. That's an extroidinary bargain for the other family, and barely a discount at all for you.

$24/hr is definitely on the higher end. I would counter offer with what I think is fair, and be prepared to walk away. For $16/hr, you can easily get your own nanny in your own home.

Family B comes over and brings all meals and supplies to their 2 kids age 1 and 3.
The stroller in the share belongs to family B as the arts and crafts material they often play with.
Family B is there 30 hours per week.
