Do you really think that Bethesda parents who hire broken-English slave nannies, care at all about their children?

The other issue with approaching the nannies is that they were both Hispanic and I heard them speaking mainly in Spanish (except for a few sentences in broken English to the kids...mostly things like "no," "get down," and "listen me when i talk to you"). So I am not sure that I would have been able to easily strike up a conversation.

It always breaks my heart to see things like this because I am sure that the mom has no idea. If I were the mom, I would be so hurt to know that my kids were being treated this way. The kids just looked so sullen and defeated when the nannies ignored them. At one point the boy kept asking the nanny "Did I ever tell you the story of [something, i didn't catch the name]?" And he said it over and over again, trying to get her attention. She finally looked at him annoyed and said, "no, you didn't" and then went back to her conversation with the other nanny (clearly the boy wanted her to take an interest and was dying to tell her the story).

Am asking about the ages because it seems odd for children to be at the park at naptime, or at least rest time. Are Montgomery County schools out for vacation already?

If I ever see anything concerning, I *always* think of some friendly small talk to get a better sense of what's going on. That's why I don't really believe a caring person would just say absolutely nothing.

Why do you all jump on OP? Are you afraid you will be "outed" as being a bad nanny too? If you are a good nanny then why do you care?

know vs no, learn the difference! I am assuming that you are a nanny as well, and you obviously are unable to educate children if you don't understand basic homonyms.

OP here again. I just realized that the little boy has a little sister. There was so little attention paid to the little sister by the nanny that I didn't know she was part of the family. There was also another nanny with a little girl called Charlie. Both nannies were horrible, didn't listen to the kids, didn't give them any attention, only talked to each other. When the kids tried to get their attention, the nannies ignored them, or rolled their eyes.

Littleboy, reddish hair, named Neil. Hispanic nanny. Mom, your nanny is terrible. Not only does she not play with or engage her son, she was mean to him. The only time she retracted him was to tell him know. She spent the whole time talking with a nanny of another kid.
