This post is correct. I almost never posted there but I was active ISYN reader in last almost 3 years. There is a topic called "Civil Liberties&and the Nanny", and I think that is the 'place' where all went down. Someone posted that the article was copy-pasted from a private Facebook group, and that is not cool to use it. Then, many anonymous posts appeared calling out the admins. It was hard to get sense of what was going on really, but I know that the poster with a nickname Lamar W post threatening one of the other posters, saying that he is tech-savy and that he will reveal the name, address, and all info about one of the posters. I was very disappointed to see that, and I am not sure if thats something he could have done without getting into legal troubles. Then, he went going on explaining that he is doing that because of of the posters send threats to MPP (previous admin who stepped out from blog because of the troubles some of the posters gave her). During that fight, MPP's name was revealed and her info.. so as info of some other people.

Oh sorry pp thought you had posted more. Regardless,I thought how the admins handled it was terrible,not you! I completely agree with the issue you had regarding the post.

Guys, I'm the one who asked then to take the private post down. I only said it once. They took it down and I was fine. No hard feelings. But then one admin started getting really unprofessional and calling me names. And then I told him, I was over it, why are they still carrying on? Then a bunch of weird stuff started happening where people were saying the most random things ever. Then anonymous people (I'm assuming people from the Facebook group since they started calling me by my first name) starting calling me nasty names. I really shinty know how it escalated so quickly. I only asked that they not post our private issues on the blog. Then unnecessary chaos ensued. I literally made 2 comments on that post.

Oh and there was also something about how they make their money but that argument went over my head.

TLike I said it became hard to understand because one admin was pretty loony,but basically they were doing a segment...worst interviews or something like that and included one that was taken from a private facebook group without the posters permission. The poster saw it on ISYN and I think emailed the admins to take it down and posted a comment to that extent. Admin posted a catty response,then the other poster posted a catty response and a ton of bickering and mean things were said between non admin users. Then one particular admin was posting totally unprofessional things and sounding crazy. It was handled poorly by all those involved and ended with someone telling the admin to urgently check their email and that was that. While the behavior between users was appalling, it was no worse than some of the stuff you see on here. It was the response from the admin that really turned me off. Now with the latest thing,I'm pretty disgusted by the admins. I certainly hope no one buys them anything

Could you give us some more details on what went down? I just went to the site to try and read it but many of the comments have been deleted by an admin and I'm dying of curiosity!

What was the scandal? She broke confidentiality? I went there and a lotif comments were removed. I'm so confused!!

Disgusting she's asking for handouts like that. Furniture? Dinner of the month club? Utterly ridiculous.

I think that it was really uncool the way they shut it down. The last couple weeks were really making it seem like it was coming back, with all the new features! They could have given us an explanation of what happened, I can't believe they just post a picture with a quote and then link a wishlist?!? wtf?!

All the fake posts got boring for her.

Anyone else see the site is closing? And the admin made an Amazon wish list of retirement gifts. Thoughts?
