So you don't like something and that makes it stupid? Shut up and go away, you're a twittering dumb fool for being so obnoxious. I think this book and the nanny magazine are both good ideas and as a nanny I always want to see more resources for us. If you don't like it you don't have to participate or purchase it but take your crappy negative attitude somewhere else and quit raining on this writer's project.
For the writer, I think it's a great idea. I hope you find lots of great stories to add and if you ever get it published I will buy a copy. Also as a side note you can look at places for selfpublishing, especially on Kindle.
Don't let jerks like this get you down. She's a sad sack, a black raincloud with a loser life and probably has no friends, a beard, and is probably morbidly obese. Pay her no mind.

How will you know that that the responses are actually from nannies and/or whether or not they were fabricated? It would seem that you'd have a better chance of authenticity of you interviewed your own nanny friends.

Hi there, no publisher yet - I am still in the idea stage.
I went to the library too and found a few books - one was called "Minding Ben" about a girl from Trinidad who works in America it's quite good read. Another one called "Au Paris" which is a great title but flimsy read with nothing much happening. And one called "The Perfect Stranger - the truth about mummies and nannies" written by a mum, which was quite a fair and interesting read.
I am very interested in nanny rights too - being a voice for nannies in the workplace.
I haven't read "Hollywood nanny" yet - is that the same on as "You'll never work in this town again"?

I was at the library the other day and couldn't find any good nanny books at all. Ditto Amazon.
The best book I could find was "Hollywood Nanny."
So far it's okay, but what you describe sounds much more current and informative.
OP, if you do not mind me asking.....Do you already have a publisher? Or will you self-publish your book??

and yet three out of four things you ask for examples of are for stirring the pot and painting nannies in a bad light.

How exciting, what a great idea!
When I nannied in a LA I worked for a high profile family. The best bit of the role was flying on a private jet. It was surreal the way people would stare and bend over backwards to please the couple I worked for.
The worst bit was feeling like I couldn't be free to take the kids out and about to give them a normal existence. They were super spoilt and verging on bratty so I tried to temper them everyday life.
I will think of some more things for you...
