We've used similar "Parents night out" events before...not at the locations you mentioned, but other bounce house type places.

My kids have never contracted lice--but they are boys with very short hair.

My kids love these events. They have fun and feel like they get to have a night out as well.

My kid caught lice from an event like this.

It seems to be around $30/night from 6 to 11pm. Not sure how they handle sleep or naps. They feed them pizza and soda- not thrilled about the soda part but you can bring your own food.

There is one at Cabin John Theatre, one at Bounce U... Im sure there are others

Never heard of them? What do they charge per hour? They let your kid stay up all night?

I guess I have been living under a rock, but I heard about Bounce U's "date night" services just a few weeks ago. And under "events" I found that Glen Echo has one as well.

Has anyone ever tried these facilities-based services for a date night? The price seems really reasonable compared to a private sitter at the home, but how much fun are they for the kid? It probably depends on the kid too- mine just happens to be a night owl so she would probably party up till 11pm pick up time!
