I have about half of those things and am at 25/hr dc area. It really depends on what the parents want and can afford.

I have all of those things, but only one degree, and currently make $21/hour, 2 children under 2. You sound very qualified OP, I think you need to work on how you market yourself. You should definitely be making $15/hour minimum.

I would be fine with a share. Though I have not worked one. I have worked with multiple children.

This advice is not my real world experience.
I think she's just trying to discourage you, OP.
What ages do you most enjoy, OP?

Probably 0-8

But also very much enjoy the special needs kids.
I'm comfortable with feedings tubes, trachs, etc....
I've had kids with all kinds of disabilities and really lived most of them.

I have three nanny/attendant references
A handful of babysitting references also.
My CPR and first aid
A cna license.
A negative tb test
I've worked with kids from newborn to fourteen including severely disabled children.
I speak only english and am an American citizen.
I only work on the books.

Are there seminars and classes I can take that would make worth more?
I plan to start back to school this fall for a child related field.
I also plan to get my med certificate this summer's.

I'm making 12-15 and would like be worth more like 18-22.
My family I work for is moving so I'm wondering what I can offer to be worth that much. As I job search.
