City Mini double stroller. In a nanny share and considering buying one on my own. Parents might skimp and I need to use that thing daily.

I love the Contour Options stroller..both kids can face towards me, away from me, face each other, or face opposite directions. It is super easy to fold up and fits comfortably in the trunk of my sedan.

Also the mountain buggy is light...I routinely lift it over a planter box by myself. It is also designed to easily pop up over curbs...it goes up and down stairs easily....i've up and down full flights fully loaded. I've used a lot of strollers...including city select...and no other manuevers as easily as the mountain buggy.

um, I have a mountain buggy an dI know for a fact it is not Huge! It IS the width of a single...go to their website genius. I had a baby trend double that was huge, it broke and I replaced it with a mountain buggy. It sails through doors the baby trend wouldn't fit through. I love my mountain buggy. It has tons of options...you can as a scooter that attaches for an older child, take one seat out and add a grocery bag etc. it's very versatile and well made and is also the width of most single strollers so getting through doors is much easier than a lot of other doubles.

This is OP. I will be using the stroller on Capitol Hill. Lots of outside walking. Ideally I would like something that the toddler can sit up in and the baby can nap on the go in. Does this exist?

The basket underneath the City Select is huge. I am amazed by how many groceries I can fit in it on trips to WholeFoods.

best for what?
If you will be doing lots of outside walking I would go with a fake jogging stroller like the city mini or city select. Huge plus is its easy to push and it has a great sun/shade cover
Main downside is the basket underneath is tiny and hard to access.
If you are going to be inside mostly, like trips to the mall or short walks then I would go with a regular stroller with a nice basket.
