No one married, or in a long term relationship should be sympathetic to you, sorry but, you dug your own grave. We are not prostitutes so sleeping with your boss was NOT PART of the job.

This is what happens when people hire nineteen year olds for nannies. OP, there is no way you are over the age of 25 and that's giving a lot of leeway. Anyone with any maturity would have realized that this was a stupid and thoughtless thing to do.

I'm the original poster. I had to look up the word Internet troll on Urban Dictionary. What I find weird is I posted this on two completely different websites and on this one everyone calls it fake and on the other one people are actually sympathetic (well some are) I find that so strange. Regardless, I wont be coming back here.

I’m not sure if MB knew or suspected something was going on but I'm now unemployed with no direction. Can anyone please help me to see this from a different perspective?? I’m so lost.

Okay, I know I'm going to get alot of grief from this but here it goes. I was a live-in nanny for 6 months. For the first 4 months, I was on call working 24/7. And every single day I would see mom boss. We had a really great relationship. We weren't just employer/employee, we were friends, good friends. I was the happiest I have ever been when it came to a job. The husband (my charges father) on the other hand worked in Hong Kong all the time and was only with us at the house in California maybe for 2 weeks straight and then he would fly back out to Hong Kong or to some other house that he had.

From the first day I started work, there was an obvious chemistry between him (the father) and I. I would constantly keep my distance when ever those kind of feelings would come up while we were together because my job was much more important to me than messing around with something so messy.

The first time we slept together, I had gone to the airport to pick him up and when I got out of the car to greet him, he came in and kissed me. After that we went to have lunch and were feeling pretty good after sharing a bottle of wine. Then we went back to the house and since they already had another nanny, it was obvious that she and the baby were out. So we went upstairs and had sex. I really could not believe what was happening but in this strange way, I felt like it was part of my job?? I know it sounds stupid but I’m just being honest.

It then happened several more times and when we all got back from a trip we were on, we got back to California and the mother told me that she’s tired of my “unprofessionalism” and fired me. And literally kicked me out of the house and I really had nowhere to go but to my mom who lives on the other side of the country. This devastated me. I tried contacting the husband to see what was going on and he never replied.

I’m not saying that I wasn’t wrong as well but when you’re dealing with a very high class individual, it’s a bit difficult to say no.

And where I’m at right now is: a complete mess and it’s been 2 weeks. I should get over it but I’m having a very hard time with it. How do I get over this?
