You need to deal with this yourself, like a grownup, and not drag your MB into it. Really. Just ignore the driver. Do not answer his questions or otherwise engage him.

Nope not making it up! We have taken the community bus before buts its a hassle as I have a double stroller to fold down.

I'm in BC too and I'm just going to assume by "community trolley" you mean the community shuttle busses. I've had this problem too - some bus drivers love to chat with people with kids who are stuck in the front seats. I usually just try to chat with my charges and ignore the driver, or if charges are too young/tired to talk I'll pull out my phone and make a call or make myself look really busy checking DCUM

At the end of the day, you don't owe this guy anything and he's just a bus driver you'll never see again after Tuesday, so just straight up ignore him and don't engage. Some of those shuttle drivers are the worst!! I almost wonder if you have the same driver I had all summer... he was a pain in the ass but my charges loved him.

In BC. It's a community trolley. A wonderful ammentiy. Can't sit at the back. I need to sit beside the stroller.

First, you should call the dispatch office (or whoever manages the trollies) and report him to his supervisors.

If you have the kind of relationship where you can talk to your MB and you don't NEED to take the kids anywhere, sure, tell her the driver made some really rude comments to you and you'd just as soon not see him again. If you don't have that kind of relationship, I'd keep my mouth shut and if he says anything tomorrow, tell him you'll be sure to include that in the summary of your complaint to his supervisor. I'll bet he shuts up quick.

As of next week I will have my full liecence and be legally alowed to drive my 2 charges. Canada has dumb rules
But until then I will be taking our community trolly
The children and I have used this transportation for up to a year. The driver is very familiar with us and knows I'm a nanny. He talks to the kids and what not. Although he ALWAYS has an opinion in how I should do my job. Nearly every week he says somthing negative to say. He'll ask what's for lunch today... Ill day PPJ's... He'll say.. Well I hope you arent giving them the crappy peanut butter!! They should be eating only natural... I say yes that is a good option... he says and only whole wheat bread and suar free jam.... thanks!!! i know how to fo my job!! Thats just An example... But nearly every day we take the trolly he comments somthing like that.
This I can handle because I know I'm good at my job and know these kids better than him... But he starts to put me down!! He asked a long while ago if I live close by! I said yes! It's wonderful about a 2 min drive! ( is this not a matter of speach!) he then goes on to obnoxiously laugh and say that's the most rediculous thing I have ever heard!!!when he brought it up again he says... So you drive to work still!!! That is SO LAZY!!! I said... Well more like 10 mins. He goes what's wrong with walking? You could loose so much weight!!! ( I'm not a Barbie girl! I've got a big butt and I cannot lie!!)
I was SO offended! There were people on the trolley as I wa trying to car for my charges... Ad he keeps going off how horrible it is that I drive to work. Keeps saying you would lose weight... You'd never make it in the army... Your killing the planet.

So here's the thing. I honestly don't want to use the trolley tomorrow... I don't know if I should talk to mb... Or just suck it up... I can drive the kids come Tuesday... I just don't want Togo thri that again...
