I know I'm not the only Mb who reads these boards and then gives thanks for her own child's loving nanny and a good nanny/Mb relationship. So here's some Thursday morning, spring"s on the way positivity and well deserved thanks:
I'm grateful to my child's nanny because:
* she really does care about my son - worries for him when he is sick, wants to know the boring details of his last well baby visit, asks to see pictures of him on the visit to grandma's house, and gets down on the floor and in the mud to keep him entertained;
* she communicates with me well, both likes and dislikes, concerns and compliments;
* every morning when I hand over my child, he is happy to see her, and those fat little wiggly legs flailing all round in appreciation when she scoops him up for a hug makes me so happy
* her start time is an hour earlier than I have to be at work, so because of her, I get to have a completely uninterrupted and worry free shower, and can enjoy my morning cup of coffee before heading off to work - she provides the only "me" time this working mama gets all day; and,
* even after a year with us, she's still as enthusiastic as when she started (which I was as excited about my job after a year!).
She knows how grateful I am, of course, but I thought I'd reinforce it here. You're the best, J!
