Back-to-back days are better for the children if you can do that.

If you have a set schedule - that is, the same 2 days each week - you should be able to find a great nanny who has another PT job on the other days (that's how I work - 35 hours for one family, 15 for the other).

Where are you located???? I'm available Tuesdays and Thursdays and won't mind because I'm a nanny for another family on the other days. If you are interested I can email you about myself and experience.

I'm pregnant and am trying to sort out what to do for child care. DH and I have work schedules such that we will only need child care 2 days/week when DC is born and I go back to work after maternity leave. Is it hard to find a part-time nanny? I read in another threat that most "top" nannies want full time employment.
