I think the only families willing to pay that rate for a PT summer nanny are going to be those that absolutely NEED a teacher, either because their kids are seriously struggling in school or have special needs. The number of families in this situation are probably going to be pretty low though. There are a LOT of different options for child care in the summer (HS sitters, college sitters, plenty of camps ranging from school programs to sleep away, etc) and this drives down the cost somewhat.
