I'm pretty familiar with the philosophy - I've done a fair amount of reading and have worked with fellow teachers who were educated via Waldorf. I suppose there is one issue in particular I'm having, which is that I think the parents are overly concerned about some very normal aspects of child development in their 4-year-old son. Their anxiety appears to be fueled by his teacher (according to his mother's explanations of her concerns, always referencing what his teacher said) and I can't really gauge if this is a common challenge (Waldorf adults expecting children to be more mature and self-regulating than they are) or if it is particular to this teacher/parent team. Any insight from BTDT greatly appreciated.
