My charge got me a pair of slippers to wear when I am at their house. Unexpected and appreciated.

Two of mine made me really cute cards. I made them cards and got them each a small ($8ish) gift. And I had them make cards and fudge for their parents and the neighbors. It was a really fun day

No, but I didn't get them anything either. I don't think MB or DB got the LO anything.

I made them cupcakes, that's it.

That's sweet. I was kind-of hoping that the parents would help the 2 and 3 yr old make a card or something, or that the 6-yr-old would make one for me on her own, but alas, nothing. I am actually kinda surprised! I thought my MB would think to do something like that, but I guess she IS busy, etc....Like you, I am curious to hear if anyone got anything similar!

My 5-month old charge got me this for Valentines Day.




The card said: "Dear [my name], thanks for taking such good care of me. I love spending time with you. XOXOXOX. Baby." It was a wonderful gesture from "her" and her parents.
