It's either yes or no. Not, well I trust her with this, but not with that. That's nonsense. That's how you get into trouble down the road. The important thing is, you do not need to justify or explain or defend your feelings. Not to her, not to hubby, not to your girlfriends, not to your mother. When you have any kind of "not right" feeling, that's all it takes. Done. It's your child here. You might not get a second chance to do it right next time. Now is the time to trust your gut. Isn't that so much more important than looking like you have a "real" job, and thinking you can't "afford" to raise your own child? Full time parenting IS a real job. It's the hardest job, but the most important job there is.
