I'd like to know where'd the woman foumd the "nanny".
I am sickened with parents (yes, many on this forum) who KNOW that their child is in an unsafe situation, but will still take off for the office, as if they were being heroic.

Hint: If you think you need a nanny cam, you need to fire the nanny, and NOT wait for proof. If the child is beaten or dies, who cares that you have proof? Good, she'll get locked up where she most definately belongs. And your child is scarred for life, or worse. Wake up, people.

It kills me that there's currently a mother on the forum, who knows that the au pair is texting while driving her kids. And wants to know what to you. Duh, you STOP leaving your children with her. Not next week, NOW. Yes, this minute. It's your child, woman. No option for replacement (of your child). Get it?
Sorry to be so harsh. I keep wondering what's happening to our culture. Sorry. Even animals in the wild protect their young. Sorry.

Not the PP you're referring to but just wanted to add that there are many good parents. Infact, billions of them, and just because a tiny percentage abuse their own kids doesn't make them all a risk. A nanny is far more likely to abuse a child, esp a baby, then a parent because they aren't her kids. Yeah most likely wouldn't abuse their charges.

I know. I am one, but it's soooo scary! I am surprised how much trust was put into me by two previous families with newborn infants as first time parents. I was glad they trusted me and I ADORED those babies, but it amazes me how in this day and age anyone can trust anyone else with their kids. Scary world.

A nanny in Staten Island was caught by a hidden camera as she hit a baby while she was trying to feed her.

The mother of the 5-month-old girl had grown suspicious of the nanny that they had hired so she installed a video camera inside their carbon monoxide detector that was synched up to a live feed.

As the mother watched while she was at work, she saw Mamura Nasirova smack her young daughter in the face three times when she won't take the bottle.

The nanny is seen with her back facing the camera as she goes from feeding the girl with a bottle (left) to smacking her in the face (right) as an older child looks on

Nasirova, 52, then shakes the girl as she lays in the stationary infant seat before whacking the girl on her legs.

No sound can be heard, but the motions of the child's mouth suggest that she is crying.

While the baby was found to have redness and swelling as a result of the hits, she did not break any bones.

The nanny, who The New York Post reports is an Uzbekistan-native, then lifts the girl quickly out of her seat and then walks out of the room.

The Staten Island Advance identifies that child's parents as Mr and Mrs Roman Mardakhaev who live on Woodlawn Avenue, and the nanny has listed her address as the same as the family's. She is not a U.S. citizen and nothing else is known about the parents.

The Mrs Mardakhaev had grown suspicious of the nanny and was apparently watching the abuse in real-time, so she was able to rush home and yell at the woman at around 4.20pm on Monday January 28.
The parents filed a police report on February 1 and Nasirova was arrested two days later at the family's home.

Her fighting streak apparently didn't stop with children either as she reportedly fought with police as they tried to arrest her.

She now faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest, and she is being held at Rikers Island, according to a spokesman for Staten Island District Attorney Daniel Donovan.
Her bail has been set at $1,000 but she remains in jail before her court date on Friday.

Nasirova's actions made their way onto a 'Nanny Black List' culled by a Russian parenting website, along with a link to the video.

'She beat a 5 month old child for not eating food. She was fired the same day by parents, though there was an outrage in our Russian Parents group as everyone felt the parents should have called the police,' the review states, even though the authorities were called and the nanny remains in Riker's Island.

The nanny was arrested for child endangerment and resistenting arrest.

Trusting my husband is a far better option than a stranger.

What's scary is that she probably has nothing on her criminal background record, came with good references, and interviewed well. You can never tell about someone.

Wow. That is heartbreaking, I couldn't even watch the whole video. I hope this lady is never able to work with children again. Sick!

This disgusts me. I am happy that her name is getting out there so that she can (hopefully) not do that to another child but I don't feel it's appropriate to have the video posted online.

OP here, forgot to say, the woman's name is Mamura Nasirova, 52, she was caught on cam hitting, pinching and shaking the infant as another young child sat on the couch, watching.
