Quit as soon as you can-you don't even want a reference from these cukoos.

I agree.

Stop agreeing with yourself. We're all catching on. Give it up.

The fact that the dad physically blocked you from getting through the doorway is a huge red flag. I would confront that by looking him straight in the eyes and saying, "Are you really illegally detaining me? If so, I will call 911 right now to say I've been kidnapped." I don't play with shit like that.

you mean you had two people interested in telling with you further. That's not the same as two job offers. Anyway, you're probablyright to keep looking. Awkward people stay awkward. I worked for one for two years and it did not end well...mainly due to her awkwardness.

I don't see any reason to stay. Keep us updated on what you decide.

If the father is not respectful of you and gives you a "creep" vibe get out.

I don't know why young nannies don't check out the parents too, is he above assaulting you? I mean, do you really know this guy?

However tons of people watch porn, that's not a big deal but I don't know why it's not hidden better.

I would just be done with it. It doesn't sound like a good fit for you or anyone for that matter. I hate interviewing for families that have never had a nanny before and then do no research on the matter.

I just started a new job on wednesday
I am the first nanny to this family.... and she really doesn't seem to know much about it.
I had to instigate the contract and pretty much everything this whole time. The reason i took the job was because it was close to home.
Ive noticed these past few days that MB is extremely passive aggressive! She communicates only by email or text. She barely speaks to me when i arrive in the morning or when she calls during the day.. she just sits silent on the phone.

We had discussed that my duties would be clean up after the kids and myself. thats it. Well on friday am she leaves me a note that says -
"The kids laundry is by the washing machine. It needs to go in. The dishwasher is clean and needs to be emptied. Please write down nap times."`

She never mentioned the note and we had never spoke about any of this

I emailed her and asked if she could provide me with a list of all her expectations. Didn't recieve it until this morning and im not sure i agree to all of it

I had an ad posted online that was pretty generic. (does not say my name or anything that she could identify me by) The website sends you the option to renew it, i guess I must have done it out of habit. Last night i received an email from her address asking me what i charge and what duties i do! So this brings me to come to the conclusion that she was looking for a new nanny....

A few other things to point out
Both parents are awkward!!! They seem to have a really hard time connecting with me.
eldest charge is very behind
Youngest charge has a peeling diaper rash every time i see them
DB is CREEPY (i am fairly young and i just do not have a good feeling about him) and RUDE! I will be talking with him about the kids day and in the middle of the conversation he will whip out his phone and completely ignore me and start texting.. and laughing at his phone.. while im still talking... He blocks the doorway when im trying to leave too.

They have a bunch of porn recorded on the tv... it just makes me really uncomfortable...

I am really debating going in tomorrow. I have an email typed out and I am on the edge of sending it.. I dont know if I should try one more week or just be done with it.
