For parents, they have their careers, come home and care for their kids so they never get a break. They're not getting paid so if they want to relax for a little and have their kids watch a show, they can.
If these parents were so lazy then they would have skipped school/college and instead, sat around on section 8 or welfare. Or became a nanny because it's that easy. Instead, they worked hard to get where they are, to raise their kids and are able to afford nannies to care for their kids when they have to work.
Ofcourse there's lazy parents but most aren't. Nannies have no excuse to be lazy.

I'm going to be the positive one here and say my MB is anything BUT lazy. She's an amazing, hard-working woman who earns an awesome living to provide for her children. And she's a great mom. I'm just here to help keep things running smoothly during the week.
+1
I don't understand why it's so hard for some people to believe that sometimes nannies and MBs have healthy, happy working relationships and that it isn't all about jealousy and resentment.

My MB is NOT lazy at all, actually I wish she'd take a break. She does EVERYTHING, it's DB who is lazy.

Not the OP or even a nanny, but me thinks you are the MB writing what you fervently wish your nanny says about you.
