$17-19, and time and a half if you ever need over 40 hours.

Leave room for future raises (these nannies quoting anything over $20 are dreaming).

It would be great if you could offer a few sick days too. I see you've offered 10 paid vacation days, but the 'norm' is 10 vacation days + a few (3-5) sick days.

Really depends on the area and skills/experience of the nanny.

Anywhere from $16 to $26.

$20/hr minimum for me (but I'm not in your area), but I would go a dollar or two lower if you included health insurance (or a health insurance stipend) in your offer.

OP here, yes those would be the expectations --- not cooking, but preparing meals for kids, kid's laundry only, bottle washing, folding kids clothes and putting them away, etc. TV is allowed one hour a day. I am not particularly uptight, I dont think! hahaa.... I am not sure what uptight would look like!

I think you should have no problem finding a qualified nanny for your children. Just make sure when interviewing candidates that you are clear with your expectations. Personally, what you are offering is a dream job for me. You get the newborn baby fix and the 2 year old who is constantly learning new things. Good luck

10:38 here. By needs and expectations I meant what kind of schedule do you have in mind, what childcare and non childcare tasks do you need performed, are you laid back and pleasant or uptight and controlling, etc. for an easy-going family asking for basic duties that I feel will respect me I will charge at the lower end. For an uptight family with lots of rules, expectations, and extra duties I will quote them a higher rate.

Fluent english would be required as well as legal status and at least a year of childcare experience

I would charge $17-$19/hour (depending on your needs and expectations), and mileage reimbursement.
