$20/hr minimum for me (but I'm not in your area), but I would go a dollar or two lower if you included health insurance (or a health insurance stipend) in your offer.

I think you should have no problem finding a qualified nanny for your children. Just make sure when interviewing candidates that you are clear with your expectations. Personally, what you are offering is a dream job for me. You get the newborn baby fix and the 2 year old who is constantly learning new things. Good luck

By needs and expectations I meant what kind of schedule do you have in mind, what childcare and non childcare tasks do you need performed, are you laid back and pleasant or uptight and controlling, etc. for an easy-going family asking for basic duties that I feel will respect me I will charge at the lower end. For an uptight family with lots of rules,expectations, and extra duties I will quote them a higher rate.
