Is there a Salvadorean grocery nearby? And, are you sure that in her culture, people snack? In many cultures food is strictly three meals a day, no snacks.
BTW, snack for me is always nuts, fruit, or cheese, but you didn't list any of those things.

Subject: Salvadorean snacks
I want to stock a few snacks for my Salvadorean nanny. She is very reticent and does not volunteer much in terms of preferences and doesn't seem to like the crackers, cookies, hummus that we usually have so I am at a loss. Any suggestions?
