If she takes the children to the neighborhood playground, that should be a good place to connect with other nannies. Also, kids events at the library. Does she have time to do workshops or classes on her own? She needs to 'put out' a little on her own.

Kids are 6,6, and 7 (almost 8).

N. Arlington has lots of opportunities. How old are your children?

We've had our nanny now for close to 7 years, but this is the first time we've been in the United States. She's from Asia, and is interested in finding some people to hang out with on the weekend that are a little younger and more fun. Strangely enough, she was happier in Latin America than here, at least as far as finding friends. I'm presuming the process is organic, but if anyone has any suggestions, would welcome them. We are in north arlington.
