To be honest you shouldn't go through a website to find care for your sn child. You want someone with a medical background incase something goes wrong and immediate attention is needed. Contact a social worker through your children's hospital or early intervention to locate a registered nurse. Your insurance might even help to cover the costs.

Did you hire the nursing students thriough Care.com or is there a message board for those students?

Thanks - I really appreciate it.

Care.com has a SN section. I also have had great luck with Georgetown and Marymount nursing students.

Is there a nanny agency that has nurses who could do respite care? My special needs baby has a NG tube (feeding tube) but I just need a break - even a few hours a week would make a huge difference for me as I have other children.
