Yeah, it is strange for someone to expect to be paid honestly. Obviously, you aren't concerned with paying hourly eployees for ALL hours , not just an arbitrary figure you pluck out of the sky.

OP said that this is the first time this has happened and that MB confirmed the extra time right before writing the check. The MB probably made an input error. My boss gave me cheque short 20 bucks this morning. I get the same amount every week and I worked extra which she asked me before she wrote it.

I didn't see the cheque as she handed it to me folded so I didn't look at it til I packed it into my wallet later on. Her parents arrived late last night so I'm sure it's just confusion. Any suggestions on how to bring it up. I've been here a year and this has NEVER happened before. We have never had any issues... Don't want to cause any either
