It's ridiculous. I would have been furious if my nanny had done this with my twins. She's lazy, bottom line.
She's lazy? She's out walking around with them...not sitting on her ass on the couch while they are on the floor. You sound like a moron.
OP...leave it alone. A LOT of parent's like their nannies to take the kids out for walks. I care for 1 year old twins and we could on two walks a day. One in the morning and one in the afternoon after naps. We walk about 1-2 miles each time and they LOVE IT. It's good for them to get fresh air. Before you know it, it's going to be snowing and they won't be able to get outside at all. She's not sitting on her ass inside ignoring them....so seriously, leave it alone.

Also, wear a shower cap so none of your hair falls on their property.

I don't know the family very well, but since I have twin toddlers myself, I like to stop and say hi when I see them. The Dad is very lukewarm, so I avoid him. Mom is nice but works now so I do not see her. The grandparents were here helping out and are very nice. Here is the issue: the nanny takes this kids (now 8 months, but the size of 3 month olds) on LONG, LONG, LONG walks outside. I am talking like hours at a time. Multiple times a day. At first I thought I was imagining things, but she leaves the house with the kids in the stroller and her IPOD in as I am leaving. 2 hours later I see her coming home. Or I will see her walking a couple miles away from home in the am, then see her back walking there in the afternoon. I sincerely doubt that she is going out every hour, so I am pretty confident now that she has them in the stroller walking for several hours a day. This just seems insane! I stopped her today and said hi. I said they must really like stroller rides. She said yes, it calms them. That's great, but it really isn't good for a baby to be stuck in a carseat stroller for so long each day. And I know that when you have twins, each baby does get less hold time and more sit time than a singleton. Would you want to know this if these were your babies? I very well may be way off and the mom wants the babies to be out in the stroller for long periods of time, but it still seems wierd. Should I just let it go?
