I don’t mind getting groceries, doing light housekeeping (never toilets, sweeping/mopping entire house, windows etc...), and cooking easy meals a couple of times a week. If, and only if, my pay reflects my duties. The more tasks added on, the higher my rate. Also duties are outlined and clear and never will be the majority of my job. Child always comes first. Make sure job creep doesn’t happen and make sure you don’t ignore your weekend duties and pile them on for her on Monday. (I.e. don’t ignore dishes all weekend because nanny will do them Monday. That’s a quick way to lose a nanny.[/quote]
