You seem to have misread. It's not about consciously "remembering". It's much more than that.

And btw, I don't believe that you wouldn't not remember who cared for you for 4 yrs. That seems like a bit of a fib.[/quote]
Believe as you wish.  I know the name of one of them, but only because there's a photo of us together somewhere.  I am sure they were great and took fabulous care of me. I am grateful.  I just don't think any of them spent weekends crying in bed on account of my departure. When I think of my caregivers, I think "Mom". [/quote]
I assume your Mother paid your caregivers, so in that way, she funded your care.[/quote]
