What name do you think I called you? Maybe like you, the other family may have other priorities. Maybe they have less income. I really don't know. Bottom line is that OP is one smart Mama.
You know nothing about my priorities; let's leave it at that. There is no need to get personal. I didn't ask you why the other family pays less - we will never know. I asked you why you think it is fair that OP should pay $8.50/hr for the same service that costs the other family $6.50/hr. I haven't heard anything reasonable back.
You have some significant reading comprehension difficulties. Sorry, I can't help you here. Good luck to you.
I know you can't help me. You don't have the answer. Could have said that from the beginning.
It'd be useful if you could formulate a cohesive question. Don't sweat it. It's alright.
It would help if you learned to read, but it's OK, copy-paste isn't difficult. Here is a question for you: Why do you think it is fair that OP should pay $8.50/hr for the service that costs the other family $6.50/hr? And do try to stay away from platitudes like "because she values security and stability of care for her child." That's not at all the question. The other family, presumably, is also getting security and stability of care for their two children, but paying much less for it. Why is that fair? Why should OP subsidize their childcare choices? And by the way, it would be a valid answer to say "no, that division isn't fair to the OP, but since that's the only way she could keep her child with that nanny - since the other family refused to pay more - that's what she had to do, pick up their slack and pay up. Life isn't fair sometimes. "
