I am also really surprised that people are saying that employers should provide their nanny with lunch. Snacks and coffee, sure. But I work at a desk job and bring my own lunch (I don’t take a lunch hour break). Why would a nanny not pack their lunch?[/quote]

You presumably are able to leave your office to grab a lunch.  A nanny can’t leave.  This has been explained countless times on this thread.

Most professionals don't have time for a lunch break.  If a parent is home then they can watch the kids for 30 minutes.  Usually breaks are unpaid.[/quote]
