Moist, warm, plenty of touch points that also happen to be hard surfaces. The virus can survive up to 3 days. Unless the gym is disinfecting every machine after each person uses it, and doing the same in the changing room, as well as observing the 6 foot rule. Additionally, most people would breathe more rapidly and/or more deeply while working out, leading to more intake of germs.[/quote]
