Imagine you have one safe space that is your own for a year in a strange place, and then that is taken away, however temporarily. It would make me feel like you didn't value my need for personal space or comfort. And presumably OPs family will be doing activities and spending time with THE FAMILY during their visit...why do they need a whole apartment to hang out in? If anything, it seems an even more apt time to make sure the AP has her own established space that she can escape to with multiple visitors in the home. [/quote]
