If she ever forgets her lunch, she is free to make a sandwich with whatever is available. She is also welcome to snacks, although, honestly, we don't have much snack like food in the house, other than cheese, crackers, and fruit.

We have never had a problem with this nanny eating too much of our food.

The thing I don't understand is why OP didn't just order in her lunch or go out with the children to pick herself up something if she knew she wasn't supposed to eat the NFs food.
